Find out exactly what accessories come with a 20-foot shuffleboard table from M&P Amusement, including wax, silicone spray, wipe, and cover.
Quick answer
The Basic Accessory Package for a 20' shuffleboard table includes shuffleboard wax, silicone spray, a wipe/sweep, and a naugahyde cover, giving you everything needed to start playing and protect the table.
What the Basic Package includes and what it leaves out
The Basic Accessory Package is designed to get you playing right away without extras you may not need. It contains one can of shuffleboard wax or powder, one 12-ounce can of silicone spray, one shuffleboard wipe or sweep, and one naugahyde cover. This covers the essentials for table setup, gameplay, and basic protection.
What you won't find in the basic kit are items like a carrying case for the wax, a dedicated brush for the powder, or a premium padded cover. If you want those upgrades, you would need to look at a deluxe package or buy them separately. For most casual players, the basic set is sufficient to maintain the playing surface and store the table when not in use.
Frequently asked questions about the 20' shuffleboard table accessories
- What does the shuffleboard wax do?
- The wax (also called powder) is applied to the playing surface to reduce friction and help the pucks glide smoothly. You sprinkle it on the board before each game and spread it evenly with the wipe or sweep.
- How do I use the silicone spray?
- Silicone spray is used to lubricate the shuffleboard pucks so they slide more easily. Apply a light mist to the bottom of each puck before playing. Avoid spraying the playing surface directly.
- What is the naugahyde cover for?
- The naugahyde cover protects the shuffleboard table from dust, spills, and scratches when not in use. Simply drape it over the table after each session to keep the surface clean.
- Does the basic package include a carrying case for the accessories?
- No, the basic package does not include a carrying case or storage bag. The items come individually packaged. If you prefer organized storage, consider purchasing a separate accessory tote or upgrade to a deluxe package. If you plan to store the accessories in a cabinet or drawer, the basic packaging works fine. For travel or frequent moving, a separate storage solution may be useful.
- Can I buy replacement wax or spray separately?
- Yes, replacement cans of shuffleboard wax and silicone spray are available individually from M&P Amusement. The basic kit gives you a starter supply, and you can restock as needed.
