A 16-foot shuffleboard table needs the right accessories. See what the Basic Accessory Package includes, what it leaves out, and whether it fits your table.
Quick answer
The Basic Accessory Package for 16' Shuffleboard Table includes four items: a can of shuffleboard wax, a 12 oz can of silicone spray, a shuffleboard wipe, and a naugahyde cover. It does not include pucks, so you will need to supply your own set.
Why the package skips pucks
Shuffleboard pucks vary in size and weight, and many tables ship with a set already. The Basic package focuses on maintenance and surface care instead, which is why it includes wax, silicone spray, a wipe, and a cover but no pucks. If your 16-foot table did not come with pucks, plan to buy a set separately.
When the cover matters most
A 16-foot table takes up a lot of room, and the naugahyde cover protects the playing surface from dust and light when the table is not in use. If your table sits in a busy room or near a window, the cover is the item you will use most often.
Common questions about the 16' Basic Accessory Package
- Does the Basic Accessory Package include pucks?
- No. The package contains wax, silicone spray, a wipe, and a cover, but no pucks. You will need to supply your own set of shuffleboard pucks. Check whether your table already came with pucks before ordering.
- What is the silicone spray for?
- The 12 oz can of silicone spray is used to lubricate the table surface and help the pucks glide smoothly. Apply it according to the table manufacturer's instructions.
- How often should I use the wax?
- Wax keeps the playing surface fast and consistent. The right frequency depends on how often you play and the table's recommendations, so follow the guidance that came with your table.
- Will the cover fit a 16-foot table?
- The package is labeled for 16' Shuffleboard Table, so the naugahyde cover is intended for that size. Confirm the cover dimensions if your table has an unusual width or rail design.
- Does this package work with other table sizes?
- It is sold as a Basic Accessory Package for 16' Shuffleboard Table. While the maintenance items are similar across sizes, the cover may not fit a different length table properly.
